The Heritage Rampart

We are Christian Nationalists. We believe Christ is King — not only over the church and the conscience, but over nations, civil magistrates, and the public square. A Christian Nationalist is simply a Christian who desires his nation to bow the knee to King Jesus: to order its laws, culture, and institutions toward the good, the true, and the beautiful.

We further believe that honoring the place and time God has placed us in is part of honoring Christ and His creation. You were not dropped into the world as an abstract individual. You were born into a people, a lineage, a land, and an era — and fidelity to Christ includes fidelity to the heritage, neighbors, and posterity He entrusted to you (Acts 17:26).

America is not a blank slate or an economic zone open to the highest bidder. It is our home — a nation with a Christian inheritance, borders worth defending, and children worth passing it to. Loving your neighbor means fighting for a civil order in which evil is restrained, families are protected, and the gospel may be preached without fear.

A Heritage American is someone whose ancestors came from Europe and who has been in this country a long time — the ethnic heart of Historical America. We are not recent arrivals passing through, nor rootless cosmopolitans with a suitcase packed for somewhere else. Our fathers and mothers built here, fought here, buried their dead here, and raised children to do the same.

This is our home. We have nowhere else to go. America is not a hotel we check out of when the bill comes due. It is the land, the people, and the inheritance our forebears handed down — and we intend to keep it for our children and our children's children, under the blessing of Almighty God.

We want to see our nation exalt Christ above all else — not through coercion of conscience, but through just laws, righteous leaders, strong churches, and a people formed by good doctrine.

We want evil purged from our midst — not by cruelty or chaos, but by the ordinary Christian means God has given us: love of brother and neighbor, sound teaching, public justice, charity toward the deserving poor, and the courage to call wickedness what it is. The state bears the sword to punish evil and defend the innocent; the church bears the keys to bind and loose in the gospel; the family bears the rod to raise up the next generation in the fear of the Lord. Each sphere has its work. None may usurp the others.

We reject the modern liberal consensus that pretends government can be "neutral," that nations are mere ideas, and that heritage Americans must apologize for existing. There is no neutral public square. Every law trains the conscience toward someone's vision of the good. We intend ours to point toward Christ.

We are not a church and we do not replace your pastor. We are not a political party and we do not speak for every patriot on every policy question. We are a watchman on the wall — a daily rampart of news and commentary for those building toward a Christian future in the nation God gave us.
